A lot of people credit Ali with inventing Rap!!! Ali always talked a lot of shit with rhymes ("Here I predict Sonny Liston's dismemberment, I'll hit him so hard, he'll forget where October/November went!"). Its said that young blacks all around america would write there own braggadocios type rhymes, and latter say them over "break-beats". The "break" is are the part of old songs, usaly the bridge or intro, were only the instraments played. DJs would would look the break over and over aging, and that was called a "breakbeat" (people would also dance to the "break-beats" and the were called "BREAK-Dancers". Thats how "Break-dancing" was born)
